About Ms. Usang Anok Ukam

Ms Usang, Anok Ukam is an Assistant Lecturer of the Department of Zoology and Environmental Biology, Faculty of Biological Sciences, University of Calabar, Calabar, Nigeria. She holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Parasitology (2017) and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Zoology and Environmental Biology (2010) from the University of Calabar, Cross River State, Nigeria. She is currently pursuing a doctorate degree in Parasitology at the University of Calabar, under the supervision of Professor Joseph E. Asor. Her teaching and research interest includes Parasitology, Neglected Tropical Diseases and Entomology. She was employed as a graduate assistant in University of Calabar in 2015 and upgraded to the rank of assistant lecturer in the year 2017. She is currently working on her Ph.D thesis on the topic Anthropometric Indices and Serum micronutrients status of Helminth infected School Children from Semi-Urban Communities in Cross River State, Nigeria.
