EmailUkah Julius Ukah was employed into the Department of Curriculum and Teaching by the University of Calabar, Calabar on 4th of April, 2016 as an Assistant Lecturer. He holds a Bachelor Degree in Economics Education and Masters and Ph.D Degrees in Curriculum Studies majoring in Teacher Education from the University of Calabar. Ukah Julius Ukah teaches different courses in Curriculum Studies as well as Teacher Education which include but not restricted to; Introduction to Teaching Profession, Curriculum and Instruction, General Teaching Methods, Methods of Teaching, Special Teaching Methods as well as Curriculum Theory and Practice. Ukah has attended some conferences and has conducted some researches on the following topic: “ICT Resources and the General Teaching Effectiveness of Teachers in Secondary Schools; ICT instructional-based variable and teaching effectiveness of teacher in selected public secondary school in Cross River and Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria; Gender variability, conditions of services and teaching effectiveness of Secondary school teachers in Calabar Education Zone, Cross River State, Nigeria; Towards the acquisition of digital instructional resources for effective teaching in the 21st century classroom in public secondary schools in Cross River State; Teacher professionalism and the utilization of instructional materials in primary school in Calabar Municipality, Cross River State among others. Ukah is a member of some professional bodies like the Academic Staff Union of the Universities (ASSU), Curriculum Association of Nigeria and the Teachers’ Registration Council of Nigeria. Ukah is visible on Research Gate, and has ten publications. He is married to his beloved wife and the marriage is blessed with children.
