Dr. Samuel Etim Ndem is a lecturer in the Department of Marketing, Faculty of Management Sciences, University of Calabar, Calabar. He is an educator, researcher, and a social entrepreneur with keen interests in relationship marketing, sales and wholesale management, distribution & logistics management, agricultural marketing, production management, as well as international marketing. Samuel likes working with a team of disciplined professionals where new ideas and innovation are carried out, and to contribute positively towards the attainment of the vision and goals of the organization through hardwork, integrity, and honesty. He has a Ph.D degree in Strategic Marketing in Ebonyi State University, Ebonyi State, University of Calabar awarded him an MBA degree with thesis in 2004, B.Sc. degree in Marketing in 1996 and a Post Graduate diploma in Marketing from International Academy of Marketing, Nigeria in 2013. As a lecturer, he has been involved in teaching, research, project supervision and mentoring of students. He has been serving as Examinations Officer and Academic Adviser (2010 till date), and also a Faculty of management Sciences Representative to the Faculty of Education & Institute of Oceanography. He worked with Assan Oil (Nig.) Ltd, Calabar, Minaj System Ltd, Obosi, Anambra State, Jackson Group Holdings Ltd., Calabar, and Union Assurance Company Limited an Associate of Union Bank of Nigeria Plc before joining the services of University of Calabar in 2008. He is a member of National Institute of Marketing, Nigeria, The Academy of Management Nigeria and an Associate Fellow of Institute of Operations Research of Nigeria. He has several publications in local and foreign journals of repute and has attended several conferences in Nigeria.
