About Dr. Rosemary Ine Eneji

Dr (Mrs) Rosemary Eneji is an academic staff in the Department of Sociology, University of Calabar, Nigeria. She joined the University of Calabar in 2013 as Lecturer II and was promoted to the rank of Lecturer I in 2016. Dr Eneji received her B.A. (Hons) degree in English from the University of Ibadan in 2001, M.Sc. and Ph.D degrees in Development Studies from the College of Humanities and Development, China Agricultural University, Beijing in 2009 and 2012 respectively. She was a graduate fellow at the International Poverty Research Center of China in Beijing for three years and a recipient of the Beijing Municipal Government Scholarship for five years. She has been teaching, mentoring, researching and therefore, contributing to the graduation of students in the University. She has successfully supervised two graduate student's theses. Dr Eneji has attended many local and international conferences in her area where she made presentations. Rosemary Eneji has been a participant in several field and case studies and consequently, gained valuable experiences in rural development, social works and international development cooperation projects in Japan and China. Some of her works in these areas have been amply documented in relevant journals and books. She is a member of the Nigerian Anthropological and Sociological Association. She is happily married.
