EmailMr Peter Onigah is an academic staff in the Department of Banking and Finance at the University of Calabar. He joined the services of the University in 2017 as Assistant Lecturer. He attended Community Primary School, Ibiaragidi, Trinity Commercial College, Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, Zaria, University of Calabar, Calabar, University of Calabar, Calabar and Michael Okpara of Agriculture, Umudike, where he obtained, FSLC, SSCE, IJMB, Diploma in Computer Science, B.Sc degree in Banking, and Finance, and M.Sc. degree in Banking and Finance respectively. Professionally, he is a graduate of the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered) and also holds a Proficiency Certificate in Management. He is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Loan and Risk Management of Nigeria. The Institute of Chartered Portfolio Management of Nigeria, Institute of Professional Managers and Administrators of Nigeria, a Student-member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, Chartered Institute of Stock Brokers (CIS) and Project Management Professionals (PMP). He is trained and certified as a Risk Assessor and Manager, Marketer, Liquidator, Receiver, Estate Manager, Portfolio and Investment Analyst and Manager, Credits controller, Financial Expert, Consultant and Adviser, Project Manager Professional and Administrator and a Computer Scientist. He is a Human Rights Crusader, a lover of Justice, a public commentator, researcher, a devout Christian and a preacher of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He previously served as a teacher and Head of Department (Social Science) at ACCESS Higher College, Calabar, a Staff of Open Registry in Ministry of Finance, Abia State, Umuahia, a Marketing Officer, Credit Officer and Head of Credits and loan Recovery in Business Resources Company Ltd (Microcredits and Financial Services), Umuahia, a Business Development Executive in Christbenz Consulting , Umuahia, Abia State, an Economics teacher in Resonance Model Secondary School, Afarakwu, Umuahia, Abia state, a Direct Sales Agent in First City Monument Bank, Umuahia, Abia State, he double as a Chief Executive Officer and Managing Partner of Peter Onigah Consulting. He is the founder of Peter Onigah’s Foundation.
