Dr Olose Omamurhomu Emmanuel is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Psychiatry, Faculty of Clinical Sciences of the College of Medicine, University of Calabar, Nigeria. He is a Fellow of the Faculty of Psychiatry of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (NPMCN) and he is an Honorary Consultant Psychiatrist in the Department of Psychiatry University of Calabar Teaching Hospital Calabar, Nigeria. He is a member of the Faculty Board of Psychiatry of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeriaandan Examiner of the Faculty of Psychiatry, National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria. He has previously served as Head Department of Psychiatry University of Calabar as well as Examination Officer in the department. He is currently serving as the Representative of the Faculty of Clinical Sciences to the Senate of the University of Calabar for a period of two years. Dr Olose has published several scholarly articles in both local and international journals and has several book chapters to his credit. His areas of interest for which he has several journal articles to his credit includes Biological, Child and Adolescent as well as Social Psychiatry.He is a member of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), member of the Medical and Dental Consultants Association of Nigeria (MDCAN) anda member of the Association of Psychiatrists in Nigeria (APN).
