EmailMiss Olaleye, Ibukun Grace is a young budding Aquaculturist with great interest in nutritional and genetic aspects of aquaculture. She graduated from the University of Maiduguri (B.Sc.) in the year 2011 and was posted to the Institute of Oceanography, University of Calabar for her Youth Corp Service in the year 2012. She joined the services of the University of Calabar in the year 2013 as a Research Assistant after completing her Youth Corp Service. She was retained due to her hard work, commitment and dedication to service. She completed her M.Sc. in the year 2017 and was upgraded to an Assistant Research Fellow and currently a Ph.D. candidate. She has attended many conferences, workshops and seminars. She is a beneficiary of the University of Calabar Staff Fellowship Award, Staff development Conference attendance and TETFUND conference grant. She has served in various capacities as an academic adviser in the institute of oceanography, member, Institute of oceanography library committee, Faculty representative at the Faculty Board of Agriculture, Allied Medical sciences, Environmental Science. She is a member of the Fisheries Society of Nigeria (FISON). She currently coordinates the Diploma in Marine Science programme of the Institute of Oceanography.
