About Ms. Ogemdi Chinwendu Anika

Miss Anika, Ogemdi Chinwendu currently works at the Department of Microbiology of the university of Calabar, Nigeria as an Assistant Lecturer. She assists the HOD and other Professional staff of the department to carry out teaching and research related activities. Her research area is focused on tacking global climate change, land, water and air pollution and loss of biodiversity in the environment today. Her research interest includes; Environmental niches of Salomonella Typii, Anaerobiosis, Biogas production, DNA extraction, Polymerase Chain Reaction, Gel Electrophoresis and next generation sequences. She is a member of Science Association of Nigeria (SAN), Nigerian Society for Microbiology, Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM), Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry (SETAC).
