Born in Calabar. Attended the Holy Child Convent School, Calabar Road Calabar. I attended Federal Government College, Kaduna. After my secondary school, I attended the Sechenev's Medical Academy in Moscow. Upon my return to Nigeria, i did my Housemanship and NYSC at the Murtala Mohammed Hospital, Kano. I worked with the Cross River State Ministry of Health for a few years, before joining the teaching hospital, I finished the residency program and became a Fellow of the National Medical College in 2012. In August 2012 i was appointed Lecturer 1.
