Mary Arikpo Iyam holds a ph.D in nutrition and food science from the university of calabar, cross river state. she was appointed as mistress grade 1 teacher in the post primary school management board cross river state ,later transfered her service to the cross river university of technology calabar as graduate assistant in january 16th 2003 and later transfered her service to the university of calabar as Assistant lecturer in 2008 and her service merged with the former in 2009 and has since been teaching Home Economics in the department of vocational education. she is married with children
