About Dr. RoseMary Onya Osim

DR. ROSEMARY ONYA OSIM Employment History Dr. Rosemary O. Osim was first employed by Post Primary School Management Board, Calabar, Cross River State as an English teacher in January 1991. She transferred her service to University of Calabar, Calabar, having been offered appointment on 20th December, 2010 as lecturer II in the then Department of Educational Administration and Planning (now Department of Educational Management). Dr. Rosemary Onya Osim (Nee Ndik) attended the Presbyterian Primary School No. 1 Obubra where she obtained her first school leaving certificate in 1975. She proceeded to the famous Holy Child Secondary School, Ikom and graduated in June 1980. She bagged her first degree from University of Cross River Uyo (now university of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State), in 1989. In 2004 and 2010 she obtained M.ed and Ph.D in educational Administration and Planning respectively. Dr. Osim has never enjoyed any fellowships nor grants. In 2015 she and her collaborators applied for TETFUND Institutional based research grant. The application result was released in 2016 and their grant was not considered. Dr. R. O. Osim received a distinguished honour award from government secondary school Atu as the best Head of Department (English) Dr. Osim teacher both in academic and religious gathering or for whenever she is invite. Graduate students/Post-Doc/research Scientists Mentoring • She has mentored and supervised three (3) M.ed and two (2) Ph.D students respectively in their research work.
