About Dr. Melvina Nkemdilim Amalu

Dr. (Mrs.) Melvina Nkemdilim Amalu is a lecturer in the Department of Educational Foundations, University of Calabar, Calabar Cross River State, Nigeria. She holds B.Ed degree in Education Biology (1984) from University of Benin, Edo State, M.Ed (2004) and Ph.D (2008) degrees in Educational Psychology from University of Calabar. Dr Amalu joined the services of University of Calabar in 2012. She is a member of various professional associations such as Nigerian Society for Educational psychologists(NISEP), Association of Childhood Educators, Nigeria(ACEN), Counselling Association of Nigeria(CASSON). She has several publications to her credit in both Local and international reputable Journal. She won the Support Africa VIVAT Award for inclusive education in 2007. She is married with children.
