About Mr. Justine Akpanke

Akpanke Justine is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Microbiology, Faculty of Biological Sciences, University of Calabar. He holds a Masters of Science degree in Environmental Microbiology from the University of Nigeria and is currently studying in the same University for his Ph.D. He is an Environmental Microbiologist and Biotechnologists with special interest in the study of influence of anthropogenic activities on the distribution of antibiotic resistance. He also demonstrated much interest in crude oil contamination mitigation measures. He has published many articles in reputable journals. He is a member of Nigerian Society for Microbiology (NSM), Nigerian Environmental Society (NES) and American Society for Microbiology (ASM)
