About Dr. John Anyabe Adams

Dr John Anyabe Adams is an Associate Professor in the Department of Political science, University of Calabar. Nigeria. He joined the Department in 1998 as an Assistant Lecturer and has served as an Acting Head of Department (2015-2017). He holds a B.Sc. (1995) and M.Sc. (1998) degrees in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Ibadan. Dr Adams was awarded a PhD degree in International Relations and Strategic Studies from the University of Calabar in 2016. He has attended several local and international conferences and is a member of the Nigerian Political Science Association. Dr Adams has successfully supervised and co-supervised several post-graduate students at both M.Sc and PhD levels. He has also published twenty-one articles in both local and international journals. Dr Adams has also contributed three chapters in books.
