About Dr. Iwara Eno Iwara

Associate Prof. Iwara Eno Iwara was employed into the Department of Political Science, University of Calabar, on 2nd November, 2017 after transfer of service from Lead City University, Ibadan, where for over 12 years he put in his best in the service of humanity. In 2017,he was granted sabbatical placement to serve as Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science, University of Calabar. Iwara has served the Univeristy system in various capacities such as: Member of Governing Council, Lead City University, from 2010 to 2017; Head of Department of International Relations – LCU; Coordinator, Model United Nations; Chairman, Post Graduate Committee, Department of Political Science, UNICAL; and has served in various committees of the Department. Iwara is an indigene of Cross River State and a native of Ugep. As an academic researcher, he is well published. His overall aim is to be a role player in the quest for the promotion of knowledge and sound judgment and to contribute scholarly works through research and the teaching for the promotion of human values in public and the private concerns. To this end, has epidemiological desires to carry out individual and collective works in political development and in investigating other political phenomena in response to the problems of both national and international development. He Holds B.Sc., M.Sc, and Ph.D. all from the University of Ibadan. He is a Fellow of Model United Nations. Associate Prof. Iwara has taught and mentored several courses in Political Science and International Relations. He is an accomplished author of several research papers published at both local and International journals. He is married and the marriage is bless with children.
