About Dr. Inyang Okon Oyo-Ita

Dr. (Mrs.) Oyo-Ita Inyang is lecturer 11 with the Department of Pure and Applied Chemistry, University of Calabar, Nigeria.  She has her Ph.D. degree in Environmental Organic Geochemistry and has taught and carried out research in this area for the past six (6) years. She has certificates in SMART note book software training for SMART BOARD users and a post graduate diploma certificate in advanced study in academic practice all from Grenoble, France.

Inyang has developed Scientific research collaborative frame work that explore research problems through scholarships and creativity with the Environmental and Petroleum Geochemistry research group (EPGRG), Department of pure and applied chemistry, University of Calabar Nigeria, institute of Environmental Assessment and Water Research Spanish Council of Scientific Research (CSIC) Barcelona, Spain, Laboratory of Biomonitoring of the Environment, Coastal Ecology and Ecotoxicity unit, University of Carthage, Faculty of Science of Bizerte, Zarzouna, Tunisia etc. She has a productive stint in academia having supervised many undergraduates contributed to the design and execution of research projects for some M.Sc. And Ph. D students, virtually teaching them on the application, workability and interpretation of Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry instruments (i.e./FID, GC/MS, GC/MS/MS etc.), as well as published extensively in high impact journals, proceeding, books etc. Dr. (Mrs.) Inyang Oyo-Ita is a member of many professional societies and has also9 presented quality papers/ keynote addresses in National and international conferences. She is an awardee of European Association of Organic Geochemist (EAOG) Travel Scholarship award to Spain, Best session paper and Excellence keynote address presentation awards at fifth international conference on Biological, Chemical and Environmental Science (BCES,2016) in London and a fellow of cooperate administration for a successful combination of research and administrative activities.
