EmailDr (Mrs) Obia G Inyang is the current Head of Africana Library, University of Calabar. She holds a B.Ed. degree in Industrial & Labour Studies. Her Masters and Ph. D degrees of Library and information Science were obtained from University of Calabar. She joined the services of the University of Calabar in 1993 as clerical officer and was upgraded to the rank of Assistant Lecturer in 2011. She rose to the rank of Lecturer II in 2015. Dr Inyang is a Chartered Librarian (CLN), member of Nigeria Library Association (NLA) and member of NLA, Cat & Class section. She has several articles in reputable national and International journals. Her research areas of interest include Information marketing, Users’ influence - bringing back users for library utilization, Users’ counseling, Mentoring, and general users’ studies in relation to ICT, contemporary librarianship, professionalism and information entrepreneurship.
