Inah, Grace Ben was employed in the Department of Radiology, Faculty of Clinical Sciences, College of Medical Sciences, University of Calabar, Calabar on the 21st of November, 2000 as Lecturer I. She holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery Degree from the University of Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria. She is also a Fellow of the West African College of Surgeons, Faculty of Radiology and has certificates in Leadership and Management in Health from the University of Washington, USA; The National Quality Infrastructure Project for Nigeria - Internal Audit certificate; The National Quality Infrastructure Project for Nigeria – Good Governance Certificate and Shantou Institute of Ultrasound Instruments Inc. certificate – Clinical application and operation training course for the advance colour Doppler ultrasound system at Apogee Plus in Shantou, China. She teaches Medical Students and Student Radiographers the principles and application of Imaging Modalities such as Conventional Radiography, Ultrasonography, Mammography, Computerized Tomography and Magnetic Resonance Imaging. Inah Grace Ben is a Consultant Radiologist at the Department of Radiology, University of Calabar Teaching Hospital, Calabar, Nigeria. She is a member of the Radiological Society of North America and the West African College of Surgeons and has attended their conferences. Her research work is centered around Paediatric Radiology and Ultrasonography, a few of these include: Diagnosis and Clinical Correlates of Gallbladder Stones in Patients with Sickle Cell Disease in Calabar, Nigeria, Systematic Complications and Imaging Challenges of Sickle Cell Disease in sub-Saharan Africa, Utilization of Obstetric ultrasonography and findings in a Cottage Hospital Nigeria, Assessment of the Knowledge of Radiology in exiting Medical Student in the University of Calabar and many others.
