About Dr. Godwin Adakole Ujah

Dr. Ujah started his career with the University of Calabar as an assistant lecturer in April, 2013. He had his primary school education at National Evangelical Mission Nursery and Primary School, Gboko, Benue State, between 1990 and 1996. He thereafter proceeded to Federal Government College Otobi where he obtained his senior school certificate in 2002. In 2005, he was admitted to study Human Physiology at the Ahmadu Bello University Zaria. He graduated with a second class upper degree in 2009. After his one year compulsory National service, he proceeded to the University of Ibadan where he bagged a master’s degree in Physiology in 2012. In 2019, he was awarded a Ph.D in Endocrinology and Reproductive physiology by the University of Calabar, Calabar. Dr. Ujah is a lecturer II in the department of physiology, where he is also an examinations officer. He teaches Physiology to B.Sc and Medical undergraduate students. His research areas include endocrinology and reproductive physiology, where he has supervised over 15 undergraduate research projects. He is a member of the Physiological Society of Nigeria (PSN) and has attended conferences and workshops organised by PSN and other professional bodies. He has published articles in reputable journals.
