About Dr. Eucharia Agom Ajah

Dr. Eucharia Agom Ajah joined the services of the University of Calabar as a Lecturer two in the Department of Agricultural Economics and Extension. She was promoted to the rank of a Lecturer one in 2016. She graduated from the Department of Agricultural Economics and Extension in 1998 with a B.Agric degree in Agricultural Economics and Extension. She was awarded M.Sc degree in Agricultural Economics in 2006 and Ph.D degree in 2013 with specialization in Agricultural Finance from the University of Calabar. Her research interest are in the area of agricultural credits, rural financing, poverty studies, investment analysis, Farm accounting, Agribusiness etc. She has been teaching, researching, mentoring and contributing to the graduation of students in the University. She is currently supervising some post graduate students who are at various stages of completion. She is a teacher par excellent. She has Co- authored over twenty three articles in both local and international journals and has attended several conferences and has presented papers. In 2017 she was a resource person in the N- Power programme of train the trainers’ workshop in Cross River State. She is a member Farm Management Association of Nigeria. (FAMAN), Nigeria Association of Agricultural Economists (NAAE) and Africa Farm Management Association (AFAM). She is married with four lovely kids.
