About Dr. Sunday Urom Eteng

Dr.Sunday Urom Eteng is a Lecturer/ Scientist specializing in Fisheries and Aquaculture such as fish fingerlings production, fisheries Biology, Pond construction, management and maintenance,. He is a staff of the department of Mariculture and marine Fisheries Resources, Faculty oceanography, University of Calabar. Sunday Urom Eteng obtained his Bachelor of Science, B.Sc. (Hons) in Geology Mining Techniques in 2002; M.Sc in Fisheries and Aquaculture in 2011 and a Ph.D. in Fisheries and Aquaculture in 2019. All three degrees were obtained from the University of Calabar, Calabar. In addition to research, Eteng is actively involved in the teaching of several courses in diploma and undergraduate programmes within the University. He has mentored and contributed to the graduation of undergraduates. He is a member of various professional bodies and associations such as Ocean Expert and Fisheries Society of Nigeria (FISON). He has participated in various conferences both local and international, and has published eight (8) papers in international journals and one (1) paper in local journals.
