EmailAgnes Edem Bassey is a Lecturer in the Department of Marketing, Faculty of Management Sciences, University of Calabar, Calabar. She is by nature Creative, Innovative and versatile. She also has passion for research and loves imparting knowledge. Immediately after National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in 2014 Mrs Agnes Bassey was employed into the services of University of Calabar as a Graduate Assistant in the Department of Marketing and was later upgraded to the rank of Assistant Lecturer in 2017. She is currently undergoing a Doctorate of Philosophy Degree (Ph. D) in Marketing at the University of Calabar. She was awarded Study Fellowship by the University of Calabar to study Master of Science (M. Sc) Degree in Services Marketing (2014- 2017), she holds a Bachelor of Science (B.sc) (Hons) degree in Marketing (2008 -2012). She was awarded a Certificate in Post- Graduate Diploma in Marketing by National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (2012-2013); Certificate in Professional Postgraduate Diploma in Customer Relationship Management by The Institute of Customer Relationship Management (2013-2014); a certificate in Information and Communication Technology: Data Analysis (2015) by MacGeorge & George Rs Ltd. Calabar. Her Area of research interest is Integrated Marketing Communication, Strategic Marketing, Health Marketing and Business Research. Since employed, Agnes has been teaching and assisting Students with their research and Thesis both at the undergraduate and Post Graduate level. She has attended and presented papers at several conferences as well as capacity development trainings. She is proficient in the usage of Micro softword, Excel, PowerPoint and SPSS (Statistical Packages for Social Sciences). She has published Papers in both local and International reputable Journals. Mrs Agnes Edem Bassey is a Member of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN); Institute of Customer Relationship Management (ICRM); and National Institute of Public Relations (NIPR). In order to support the pursuit for quality research and producing Globally competitive Graduate by the University, she was appointed Member of the Department of Marketing Quality Assurance Committee (2017 till Date) and Undergraduate Examination Malpractice Committee (2017 till date). She is a determined and optimistic scholar who adds value to People, Organizations and her immediate Environment. Agnes Edem Bassey is happily married with children.
