About Dr. Vincent Tawo Ebu

Dr. Vincent Tawo Ebu started work with the then Ibrahim Babaginda College of Agriculture, Ovonum in Obubra Local government Area of Cross River State as an Assistant Lecturer in1996. With the transformation of the College to Faculty of Agriculture, Cross River University of Technology, he was re-designated as a Graduate Assistant in 2002. He joined the services of the University of Calabar in 2010 as a Lecturer II and was promoted to the rank of Lecturer I in 2015. Dr. Ebu attended the University of Uyo, Uyo, Nigeria where he obtained his B. Agric(Forestry and Wildlife ) degree in 1994 and M.Sc. (Forestry and Wildlife with specialization in Agro-Forestry) degree in 2007. he was awarded a Ph.D degree in Geography and Environmental Science by the University of Calabar, Calabar, Nigeria. Dr Vincent Ebu was a beneficiary of the Cross River State Scholarship for 3 years during his undergraduate programme days. Dr. Ebu has attended conferences within and outside Nigeria where he presented several papers. He was a member of the Local Organizing Committee of the Forestry Association of Nigeria conference that was held in Calabar in 2003. In the course of his researches, Dr. Ebu has collaborated with colleagues in the same department within and outside the Universities. He is a member of many professional bodies including the Forestry Association of Nigeria, Geography Association of Nigeria, and Wildlife Management Society of Nigeria. Dr. Ebu has published in both local and international journals.
