Mrs Valerie Esame Ugochi joined the services of the University of Calabar in 2019 as Lecturer II in the Department of Medical Laboratory Science. She holds a B.MLS and M.Sc. (Haematology and Blood Transfusion Science) degrees awarded by the University of Calabar in 2012 and 2016 respectively. Mrs Ugochi has been teaching, researching and mentoring students since she joined the University. She has published some articles in reputable journals. She has attended conferences within and outside Nigeria. Mrs Ugochi is a member of the Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists of Nigeria and Haematology and Blood Transfusion Scientists Society of Nigeria.
