EmailMr Ubong James Essien is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of History and International studies, University of Calabar. He holds a B.A. (Hons) degree in History and International studies awarded by the University of Calabar in 2005; an M.A. degree in International History and Diplomacy from the University of Uyo in 2016. His main area of research interest is Nigeria’s Diplomatic History and African engagement in the global system. Mr Essien has been assisting to teach undergraduate courses in the Department of History and International Studies. He has successfully published a paper in an international peer reviewed journal.
