Graduated from the Department of Medical Laboratory Science, University of Calabar, Calabar in 1996.Got employment in the same University in 1999 and was posted to the Department of Medical Microbiology/Parasitology where I was teaching Medical Microbiology/Parasitology Practicals to Medical and Medical Laboratory Science students. I did this work for some years before applying for transfer to the Department of Medical Laboratory Science, where I am teaching practicals to Medical Laboratory Science students, students on industrial attachment and Internees. I obtained an MSc.in Medical Microbiology/Parasitology from this same University in 2006.My area of specialization is Bacteriology with special interest in enteric bacteriology. I have been a Part Time Lecturer in the Department of Medical Microbiology/Parasitology in the Faculty of Clinical Science, University of Calabar,Calabar,for the 2012/2013 Session. I have been heading the Medical Microbiology/Parasitology Technical Unit since 2012 to date. My communications are usually done in English or French. Since my employment in this University, I have had the opportunity to attend many workshops ranging from: Readings on Diarrhoea, Water Sampling and Analysis, Science Equipment Maintenance and Management, etc.
