EmailDr. Samson Akinwumi Aderibigbe is a Lecturer in the Department of Special Education, Faculty of Education in University of Calabar. I obtained a Ph.D; M.Ed and B.Ed in Special Education of persons with hearing impairment from the University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria in 2010; 1998 and 1995 respectively. He transferred his service to the University Of Calabar, Calabar as a Lecturer 2 in the year 2015 and has since being contributing to teaching/learning and also graduating students. He has held Many responsibilities in the department of Special Education Such as Students Adviser in 2015/2016 session, Sandwich Coordinator from 2016/2017 academic session till date. He has attended many conferences and workshops in both local and national as related to issues in special needs education. He also have articles in both local and foreign publication in reputable journals. He has more than eighteen years job experiences working with persons with hearing impairment. He belongs to many professional associations including National Association for Exceptional Children (NAEC); Nigeria Association of Special Education Teachers (WASET); Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN). His area of interests are in Education of persons with hearing impairments; Entrepreneurial Education, Vocational Rehabilitation for persons with hearing impairment and audiology.
