About Dr. Ogonna Nwota Odi Nwankwo

Dr. Ogonna Nwankwo is a lecturer with the Department of Community Medicine, University of Calabar, and also serves as a consultant Public Health Physician to the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital. He serves as the lead for the Health Policy, Management, and Health Economics firm in the department. He has a great interest in Health Policy and Health system research, implementation research, and the management of systems for efficient provision and delivery of disease control programs and health interventions. He is a member of several professional bodies including the Nigeria Medical Association, Association of Public Health Physicians of Nigeria, American Thoracic Society, and Health System Global. He is an alumnus of the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and London School of Economics amongst other institutions. He holds the Fellowship of the West African College of Physicians (Community Health).
