About Mr. Ndukaku Chinazaekpere Nwakwue

I am a lecturer in the Department of Nursing Science, Faculty of Allied Medical Science College of Medicine University of Calabar. Apart from teaching, I am a researcher. My background is in General Nursing- medical, surgical nursing. I am interested in improving quality nursing care. My nursing experience includes emergency nursing, general and occupational health nursing. Other work experience includes site nurse, ambulance nurse and paramedic (both ACLS and BLS ambulances). My interest includes Nursing audit, forensic nursing, genomic nursing and systematic reviews/meta-analysis. My academic qualification includes RN, B.Sc (Hons) Nursing, M. Sc Nursing. A second strand of my work is my interest in working for and with Cochrane Collaboration as a Cochrane-Embase screener. Also, I am a Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria examiner. I am a member National Association of Nigerian Nurses and Midwives, Cochrane Collaboration reviewer, British Heart Foundation, American Heart Association. International Society for Evidence-Based Heath Care, Evidence Based Health-care, Centre for Evidence Based Medicine, Screener at the Embase project for Cochrane.
