About Dr. Mercy Ihuoma Chjioke

Dr. Mercy Ihuoma Chijioke joined the services of the University of Calabar in 2018 as an academic staff. She holds a Ph.D. and M.Sc. degree in Economics awarded to her by the University of Calabar in 2017 2014 respectively, B. Sc. degree in Economics from the Abia State University, Uturu, Abia State in 2003. Dr Chijioke is a recipient of the Tony Elumelu Prize for the best graduating M.Sc student in Economics in the 28th Convocation ceremony of the University of Calabar. She is a researcher and has publications in both local and foreign journals. She has garnered vast experience in teaching and mentoring students. She has attended some conferences organized by the Nigerian Economic Society (NES) where she presented papers.
