Mrs Maureen Abang is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Vocational Education at the University of Calabar, Nigeria. She joined the university in 2019. Mrs Abang holds a B.Sc.(Ed) degree in Business Education awarded to her by the then Cross River University of Technology, now University of Cross River State, Calabar, and M.Sc.(Ed) in Business Education (Management Option) from the University of Calabar. Since joining the University, she has been helping to teach some courses. Mrs Maureen Abang has successfully authored and co-authored two articles in international journals. She has also participated in local conferences where she presented papers and also made other useful contributions. She is a member of many professional associations including the Association of Business Educators of Nigeria, Association of Vocational and Technical Educators of Nigeria, and a professional member, of the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria.
