Dr. Sunday, Maria Ofie is a lecturer of Educational Foundations, Faculty of Education, University of Calabar, Calabar. She has the following educational qualifications: First School Leaving Certificate (1995), Senior School Certificate Examination (2001), National Certificate of Education (NCE) in Geography/Economics (2003), B.Ed. in Educational Administration and Planning (2006), Master’s Degree (M.Ed.) in Educational Psychology and School Counselling (2009) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Educational Psychology (2016). She is a member of the following professional associations: Association for Childhood Educators Nigeria (ACEN), Nigerian Society for Educational Psychologists (NISEP). Dr. Maria has attended conferences and presented scholarly papers. She is an Educational Psychologist with published Journal Articles as well as to her credit. She is from a humble Christian family blessed with wonderful children. Reading, music, relaxing, cooking research, writing, gardening and academic counselling are her hobbies.
