About Dr. Malachy Ashywel Ugbaka

Dr. Malachy Ashywel Ugbaka, is a Teacher, Pastor and a spread sheet Analyst. He has extensive teaching and research experience in various institutions of high learning in Nigeria which spans over 19 years, having worked with The Economist Institute Abuja, Ambrose Alli University, Abuja Study center, Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa State, All State Polytechnic, Abuja, as well as Hilltop Polytechnic Port Harcourt. His teaching and research experience cuts across Economic Theory, Development Economics, Econometrics, and Monetary Economics. He resigned his appointment with Bollore Africa Logistics as an Invoicing Manager to pursue his academic interest. He resigned his last appointment with Wellspring University Benin City to resume at the University of Calabar, having spent 3 years with the university as Lecturer II. While in Wellspring University, he taught Advanced Macroeconomics and Monetary theory and practice at the post graduate level and various courses at the undergraduate level. Presently, Dr. Malachy Ugbaka lectures Advanced Microeconomics, Advanced Macroeconomics, Introductory Econometrics as well as Managerial Economics at the University of Calabar. Malachy is an outgoing person who enjoys travelling, reading, meeting people. He delights using his spare time to teach business management and decisions to young people who find challenges understanding the subject.
