About Dr. Henrietta Osayi Uchegbue

Dr. (Mrs) Henrietta Osayi Uchegbue holds a Ph.D. degree in Education Measurement and Evaluation obtained from the University of Calabar in 2017. She also holds an M.Ed. degree in Measurement and Evaluation (2007), Post-graduate Diploma in Education (2004), all from the University of Calabar. She served the University International Demonstration Secondary School between 1996 and 2018 before her appointment was converted to academic in 2018. Dr. Henrietta also served as the Vice-Principal (Administration) and Head of the Department of Vocational Studies of the University of Calabar International Demonstration Secondary School from 2013 to 2016. Since joining the University of Calabar, she has been teaching, researching, and counseling students at all levels. Dr. Uchegbue is a regular participant in many conferences, workshops, symposia, and seminars where she both oral and poster presentations. She has three publications in reputable journals to her credit. Dr. Uchegbue has served the University in other capacities including members, newly recruited academic staff, and post-graduate students’ orientation committees. She is a member of many professional bodies including the Nigerian Association of Technologists and Engineers, Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria, the Nigerian Association of Educational Researchers and Evaluators, and the Educational Assessment and Research Network in African. She is happily married with children.
