EmailMrs Esther Onyinyechi Chieke is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Sociology, University Calabar, Nigeria. She joined the University in 2018 as Assistant Lecturer. Mrs Chieke holds a B.Sc. degree in Social Work (2010) and M.Sc. degree in Medical Sociology (2015) from the University of Calabar. She has been teaching, mentoring and contributing to the graduation of students in the University since joining the University. She has published in both local and international peer reviewed journals and has contributed to two book chapters. Her research interests span across Medical Sociology, Social Work, Health Services, Policies and Programmes, Reproductive health, Gender and Women in governance. She enjoys dancing and singing. She is married with children.
