About Mrs. Catherine Boniface Ekarika

CATHERINE BONIFACE EKARIKA is an academic staff in the Department of Educational Foundations, Faculty of Education, University of Calabar, Cross River State. She holds a Bachelor of Science, Education degree in Business Education (B.Sc.Ed. 1999), Masters in Educational Psychology (M.Ed. 2014 with 5.00 CGPA) both from the University of Calabar. Presently, undertaking a Doctor of Philosopy (Ph.D) in Educational Psychology from the same University. She joined the service of the University of Calabar on the 8th of August, 2018 as an Assistant lecturer. Since then, she has been actively involved in teaching as well as research and still sharpening her research skills especially in Psychology of Learning as her area of specialization. Her notable research work is an experimental study in the area of application of multiple intelligences strategies in the teaching and learning situation. Her flair for research is burning as she collaborates with other researchers in the field of education towards finding solutions to educational problems.
