EmailMrs. Caroline Iserom Ita (KSM) hails from Akamkpa L.G.A Cross River State. She had her primary school education at the Government Bilingual Primary School Egbekor, Mamfe Manyu Division, Republic of Cameroon and Secondary Education at Community Secondary School Oban, Akamkpa L.G.A, Cross River State, Nigeria. She went to the University of Calabar, Calabar for her B.Sc (Microbiology), PGDE (Education), M.Ed (Measurement and Evaluation) and she is currently at field for her Ph.D degree in Measurement and Evaluation. She is a seasonal teacher who started teaching immediately after her National Youth Service Corps, during which she served as an Administrative Staff at Adabi l.G.A Secretariat, Ogaminana, Kogi State. At the secondary school level she work as a Biology teacher, then as an Agricultural Science Teacher at the Private Sector from 2003-2008. She proceeded to the Cross Rive State Secondary Education Board as a Biology teacher in 2008. She joined the services of the University of Calabar, Calabar in 2013 as a Higher Executive Officer and rose to the rank of a Senior Executive Officer in 2016. Presentably she converted from and administrative staff to an academic staff to return to her archetype job of teaching. She has about six publications published in reputable Journals to her credit and about three presently at press. Her research interest is in the area of Educational Measurement and Evaluation. Currently she is an assistant lecturer in the Department of Educational Foundations, Faculty of Education, University of Calabar, Calabar she is a member of science Teachers Association of Nig. (STAN). She is married with children.
