EmailDr. Adedapo Adedayo ADENIRAN is the acting head, Department of Pharmacognosy and Natural Medicine, Faculty of Pharmacy. His research interest is in drug discovery, development and molecular docking/screening of bioactive compounds. This is achieved through ethnobotanical survey of vast flora in tropical rainforest in relation to their cultural, indigenous and medicinal uses. Area of specialization includes phytochemistry, standardization of medicinal plants, molecular authentication of medicinal plants and biodiversity conversation using plant tissue culture techniques.
