Vladimir Ndifon Obim is a Lecturer II in the Department of Geology,University of Calabar, Nigeria. He holds an M.Sc. degree in Petroleum Engineering from Russian State University of Oil and Gas, Gubkin, Moscow, Russia (2005). he joined University of Calabar, Calabar in on the 5th of November, 2010 as Assistant Lecturer and was promoted to the rank of Lecturer II in 2014. His main area of specialisation is petroleum geochemistry. Since joining the Department, he has been teaching, researching and contributing to the graduation of students inn the University. He has served the Department as been Examinations Officer between 2012 and 2017, Secretary, Examination Misconduct Committee and member, Quality Assurance Team for Internal Accreditation Compliance Committee. He is also member of the Faculty of Physical Sciences Workshop Committee. He has over five academic publications in reputable local and international journals. .
