Dr. Vincent Ugah Uguma attended St. Michael's Primary school, Ibil in Ogoja Local Government Area of Cross River State, Nigeria. He passed the First School Laving Certificate (FSLC) examination in 1975. Also, he attended Mary Knoll College, Okuku-Ogoja and obtained the West African School Certificate in 1980. Dr. Uguma was admitted into Federal College of Education Obudu where he obtained the Nigeria certificate in Education (NCE) in 1987, (English/Religious Studies option). In 1990, he bagged the Bachelor of Arts (BA.Ed.) degree in English/Education from the University of Calabar. Futhermore, Dr. Uguma obtained the Masters and Doctorate degrees (M.Ed and Ph.D) from the same University in 2004 and 2012 respectively, specializing in Laguage Arts Education. He joined the service of the University of Calabar in 2014 as Lecturer II. Dr. Uguma has published papers in national and international journals, as well as attended conferences. As a professional teacher, he is registered with the Teachers' Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN). He is a member of Curriculum Organization of Nigeria (CON), and Reading Association of Nigeria (RAN)..
