Dr. Uti Ojah Egbai holds a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy of the University of Calabar in 2000. He bagged an M.A and Ph.D degrees in Philosophy of Science in 2005 and 2008 respectively. He started his academic career as an Assistant Lecturer with the Department of Philosophy University of Port Harcourt in 2008. He transferred his service to the University of Calabar in 2010. He is currently an Associate Professor and teaches Philosophy of Science to both Undergraduate and Postgraduate students. Dr. Egbai is a member of the Philosophical Association of Nigeria (ANA) and Society for Academic Excellence since 2009 and 2012 respectively. He is a former Director of the Centre for General Studies and Communication Skills, University of Calabar, a position he held between 2015-2020. He has published several papers in both Local and International Journals. He has attended and presented papers in local and international conferences. He is an editor of two books and a co-author of one. He has served in various committees and task forces in University of Port Harcourt and the University of Calabar. Dr. Egbai has successfully supervised/ co-supervised over three graduate students. He is married to Lucy and are blessed with four children..
