Dr. Ohadoma, Sylvester Chika is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Pharmacology, University of Calabar, Nigeria. He holds a Ph.D degree in Pharmacology & Toxicology awarded by the University of Nigeria, Nsukka in 2014, M. Sc. degree in Pharmacology from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Akwa, Anambra State (2006) and B.Sc. degree in Chemistry/Biochemistry from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Akwa, Anambra State, Nigeria. He joined the services of the University of Calabar in July, 2017. Since joining the University, he has been teaching, researching and contributing to the growth of the University. He is the Chairman, Department of Pharmacology Research Committee, University of Calabar, Member, Departmental Examination Malpractice Committee, Member, Pharmacology Department Graduates Board, Member Adhoc Committee on Department of Pharmacology (B.Sc. Programme) NUC Accreditation , Member, Department Quality Assurance Committee, all in the University of Calabar. He has over Sixty (60) publised articles in reputable journals; two books. He has attended several conferences and is involved in teaching and mentoring of Ph.D, MSc. and Undergraduate Students. Worthy of note is that the Google verified Nigerian name "Chikadoma" for Lupinus arboreus was derived from the name of Dr. Chika Ohadoma after his pioneering and fundamental contributions in the studies of Natural Product Pharmacology, with particular regard to Lupinus arboreus.
