Dr. Peter Samuel Ubi

Dr. Peter Ubi holds a B.Sc, M.Sc and Ph.D Degrees in Economics from the University of Calabar. He has taught in the field of Economics at the University of Calabar since 2010 when he was employed as a Lecturer 11. He has since risen to the rank of a Senior Lecturer in 2017. He is a member of the Nigerian Economic Society (NES), which is a professional body responsible for fashioning the curriculum as it concerns the teaching and practicing of Economics. Dr. Peter Ubi has supervised over 40 graduate and Post graduate students. He has been a consultant to the Cross River State Government on World Bank Assisted Projects. He has published over 45 scholarly papers in both reputable local and international journals. He is currently the Departmental Coordinator of Post graduate programme. His interest is in Economics of Development, Public Sector Economics and Economic Theory. .
