Dr. Peter N. Mba joined the services of the University of Calabar in 2010 as an Assistant Lecturer and rose through the ranks to my present position of Lecturer 1. He obtained Ph.D and M.Sc degrees in Economics from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka in addition to a Postgraduate Diploma in Environmental Education and B.Sc in Economics, University of Calabar. He has some grants to his credit such as Department for International Development (DFID) under the Adam Smith International, African Economic Research Consortium Ph.D grant and TETFUND. In the process, he has garnered a lot of experience in teaching, mentoring and guiding students. He has also reviewed several journals such as Global Journal of Social Science, University of Calabar, Journal of Global Economics, Management and Business Research Journal in 2016, and the Journal of Renewable and Sustainable Energy 2017 among others. He has attended several conferences such as Nigerian Economic Society, International Conference of the Social Sciences, University of Nigeria, Nsukka and the Nile University. .
