Dr. Patrick Mbum was employed in the University of Calabar, Calabar in 2008 as an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Marketing, Faculty of Management Sciences. He had his B.Sc (Ed) degree in Business Education from University of Calabar in 1997, Post Graduate Diploma in Management from Lagos State University, Lagos State in 2000, M.B.A. from Ambrose Ali University, Ekpoma in 2005, M.Sc.-PhD degree in Marketing in 2018 from Ebonyi State University, Abakakili. His main areas of specialization are energy marketing and consumer psychology. Dr Mbum is a seasoned scholar and researcher that has been teaching courses at both undergraduate and post graduate levels. He also supervises students’ projects, theses and dissertations. He is an affiliate member of National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria, Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria. He has published many papers in learned peer reviewed local and international journals. Dr Mbum is a regular participant in many local and international conferences in his area where he make presentations. He is married with children..
