Is a Professor of Biochemistry, College of Medical Science University of Calabar, Calabar where he has been lecturing since June 1981. He possesses a Ph.D of the University of Southampton, United Kingdom and has over the years taught various aspect of Biochemistry to Undergraduate and graduate students in Medicine and Surgery, Anatomy, Physiology, Med Lab Sc., and Biological Sciences. He has supervised and mentored over 35 graduate students and published over 150 articles in reputable pee-reviewed journals. I established the Endocrine and Phytomedicine Research Laboratory in 2004 from externally sourced research grants where tested and reputable Scientist have been trained. He has served as the HOD in the Department of Biochemistry (1998-200; 2006-2008) and as the Dean Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences (2008-2010) He has attended Conferences around the Globe where he has presented Scientific papers. prof Ebong is a member of many Professional, Academic and Religious bodies and Organizations. He is happily married Blessed with four Children and a Grand child..
