Prof Uchechi Rex Ogbuagu, holds a B.Sc degree in Statistics from University of Nigeria, Nsukka, M.Sc and P.hD degrees in Economics from the University of Calabar, Calabar. He is an Executive Counselor of American Institute of Management. Uchechi was a Research and Training Officer in Nigerian Palm Produce Board and had organized series of trainings and workshops in collaboration with Centre for Management Development (CMD), International Labour Organization(ILO) and the Industrial Training Fund (ITF). Prof. Uchechi Rex Ogbuagu, was a Head of Department of Statistics and later Head of Department of Computer Science among other senior positions in Cross River State University of Technology before joining the Department of Economics, University of Calabar, Calabar as a senior member of the Faculty. He teaches among other courses Econometrics and Quantitative Methods, Applied Statistics, Petroleum Economics, Industrial Economics and Economics of Natural Resources as well as Economic Theory. He is a member of Nigerian Economic Society, Nigerian Statistical Association, African Statistical Association and American Institute of Management. His publications are usually abstracted in Google Scholar and SSRN. Professor Ogbuagu consults for Calabar Micro Finance Bank on Information Technology, Tekon Systems Nig.
