Mr. Ofem Nnana Okoi is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Social Work, University of Calabar, Calabar. He holds a B.Sc. degree in Social Work (University of Calabar (2015)) Master Degree in Social Work and Community Development (2019) from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He has been the pioneer time table officer of the Department of Social Work, University of Calabar from 2017 till date. His area of Research interest is in Community Development, Child Welfare/Protection, as well as Women Empowerment. He is a member of Nigeria Association of Social Workers (NASOW), Nigeria Association of Social Work Educators (NASW). He has published many journals both local and international amongst which include “Public perception of small arms epidemic and conflicts in Oke-Ogun Area of Oyo State†“Empirical analysis of poverty and well-being of rural dwellers in Yakurr Local Government Area of Cross River Stateâ€. Etc. He has also attended several conferences and he is happily married with children. .
