Dr (Mrs) Nkoyo Bassey Edem is an Associate Professor of Library and Information Science and currently the University Librarian, University of Calabar, Calabar. She is a holder of B.Sc ( Fisheries), MLS and Ph.D in Library and Information Science. Dr Edem has co-authored books, book chapters in referred texts and more than forty articles in scholarly and professional journals. She is a Certified Librarian of Nigeria ( CLN ) and a member of the Nigerian Library Association ( NLA ). She teaches, research and consults in areas like application of ICTs in Library operations, reference services, collection management in the digital era as well as user's studies.
