Mrs Monica Peter Lebo is from Adadama in Abi Local Government Area of Cross River State, Nigeria. She started teaching as a lecturer at the former Polytechnic, Calabar in the year 1999 and was later redeployed to the present Cross River University of Technology, Calabar. She joined the service of University of Calabar in October, 2010 as Lecturer II. Her service was transferred from CRUTECH to UNICAL in 2010. She attended Government Primary School Ogboja, Ogoja in Cross River State where she obtained her First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC). Her secondary school was at Holy Child Secondary School, Igoli, Ogoja where she obtained her West African School Certificate (WASC). She also attended Rivers State University of Science and Technology, Port Harcourt, and obtained B.Sc. (Secretarial Administration) Degree. And later got her Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) Degree from The University of Calabar, Calabar. Not done yet, she went to Ebonyi State University (EBSU), Abakaliki and obtained a Ph.D in (Human Resource Management) . Though she had applied for grant, she has not been granted. She is an honorary recipient of the Department of Management Award for Teaching Excellence in 2018. She had taught many business courses. Also, she had participated in many conferences where she presented a scholarly research papers and have published over 10 scholarly articles in both local and international peer reviewed journals. She had supervised both Diploma and Undergraduate Students’ Projects numbering over sixty (60). She is a member of The Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM). Mama Monica as she is fondly called by close friends and associates is a mother, a wife and a sister to her family and friends. She is married to the love her life Mr. Peter Lebo and the marriage is bless with children. .
